Fixing Socket with Cross Pin
A fixing socket with a cross pin through its embedded tail, adding mechanical interlock with the surrounding concrete for extra pull-out resistance beyond a plain straight-tail socket.
Where it's used
Higher Pull-Out Resistance Fixings
Cross pin mechanically locks the socket into the concrete, suited to fixings under higher tensile demand.
Facade & Heavy Bracket Attachment
Extra anchorage supports heavier cladding brackets and support angles than a plain socket.
Precast Connection Points
Used wherever a bolted connection needs more pull-out capacity than the standard fixing socket provides.
