Magnet Integrated Shuttering System

Magnetic shuttering for precast plants: shuttering magnets hold formwork and accessories on the steel casting table without drilling or welding, for faster mould changes between pours. The range includes shuttering magnets (450 to 2100 kg holding force), the integrated magnetic formwork system, magnetic steel chamfers, magnetic recess formers and adaptor clamps.

Shuttering magnets

The Shuttering Magnet is a neodymium-cored steel box magnet that clamps formwork to the steel table and releases instantly, in four force ratings from 450 to 2100 kg.

Integrated magnetic formwork

The Integrated Magnet Shuttering System comes as complete side forms with built-in magnets, or as magnets to fit your own timber or steel formwork. It is configured in many lengths and heights, with or without chamfer, for manual, crane or robot operation.

Chamfers, recess formers and clamps

Magnetic Steel Chamfer (10 to 25 mm), Magnetic Rubber Recess Former (1.3T, 2.5T and 5.0T) and the Shuttering Magnet Adaptor Clamp, which positions accessories along the mounting rail.

Which holding force do I need?

It depends on the formwork height, the concrete pressure and how the mould is vibrated. Send your element and mould details with your enquiry and GPS will suggest magnet sizes and spacing.

Do magnets work on timber formwork?

The magnet holds on the steel casting table; timber or steel formwork is fixed to the magnet with adaptors. The integrated system can be supplied with or without its own formwork.
