Male & Female Coupler
A parallel-thread rebar coupler set – one externally-threaded (male) half and one internally-threaded (female) half – joining two reinforcement bars end-to-end with a mechanical threaded connection instead of a lap splice. Covers Ø10mm to Ø40mm reinforcement.

Where it's used
Rebar Splicing in Congested Sections
Replaces a long lap splice with a compact threaded connection, useful where rebar congestion or limited development length makes lapping impractical.
Precast-to-Precast Reinforcement Continuity
Carries reinforcement continuity across a precast joint where bars can't be tied or lapped directly.
Reduced Bar Consumption
A threaded mechanical splice uses less steel than a lap splice sized for the same reinforcement capacity.
