Fixing Socket with Cross Pin
A fixing socket with a cross pin through its embedded tail, adding mechanical interlock with the surrounding concrete for extra pull-out resistance beyond a plain straight-tail socket.

Extra anchorage supports heavier cladding brackets and support angles than a plain socket.

Used wherever a bolted connection needs more pull-out capacity than the standard fixing socket provides.
