Questions buyers ask
Concrete or plastic spacers?
Concrete spacers are made of concrete, so they become part of the element. Plastic spacers are light and quick to place, and line spacers support a whole run of bars in one piece.
What are horseshoe shims used for?
The open horseshoe shape slides around a bolt or dowel, so the shim can be added or removed to pack and level a precast panel without taking the connection apart. GPS supplies them in 2 to 10 mm thicknesses.
